Actor Adnan Shah Tipu, famous for his comic and villainous roles in Pakistani dramas, sat with Aaj News to speak about his upcoming film ‘Ghabrana Nahi Hai,’ premiering in cinemas countrywide on Eid-ul-Fitr.

After former PM Imran Khan’s extensive use of ‘Ghabrana Nahi Hai,’ the phrase has gained political significance in the country. Speaking about the current political atmosphere, Tipu said that he finds it extremely disturbing.

“We seem to have lost all our values. Whether we have religious or political differences with anyone, it doesn’t mean that we start disrespecting them,” he said.

“I think it’s absolutely wrong to hurl shoes at people’s pictures and disrespect them, no matter which party they belong to,” he added.

Tipu along with other members of the cast of ‘Ghabrana Nahi Hai,’ which includes Saba Qamar, Zahid Ahmed Khan, Nayyer Ijaz, Afzal Khan and Syed Jibran in major roles will appear on Aaj Entertainment’s special Eid transmission ‘Khushiyon Bhari Eid’ hosted by Sidra Iqbal.

Eid for the actor is a “beautiful occasion.” “Ever since Allah Tala has blessed me with four daughters, and a loving wife Eid has become extremely special. I watch the girls get ready in their new clothes, wear bangles, and apply mehndi and my Eid is complete,” said Tipu.
