Trouble doesn’t seem to end for Shah Rukh Khan, as Indian extremist party Shiv Sena has once again interfered in the release of most anticipated movie of 2017. A leading Indian film distributor has received a threatening letter to ban screening of Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees.
Akshaye Rathi, a leading distributor has received threat letters from Shiv Sena for screening the SRK starrer in his theatre. The letter has been sent to Akshaye from the political partys Chhattisgarh wing, Times of India reported.
Akshaye Rathi is seeking help from everyone associated with Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Raees’ and also the fans who can help spread a word against this hooliganism in the form of political threats. He took to Twitter to seek help from the fans. He tweeted, Request all @iamsrk fans to help me bring this to the notice of @AUThackeray. Im sure he will take action against this nuisance. #Raees.
Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees will be facing the same trouble that Karan Johar’s ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ faced during the release of the film. Both the films were in talks ever since the Uri attacks took place.
The movie stars Pakistani actress Mahira Khan in the lead role which became the matter of concern for the Indian extremist party.
